Defect|properties

The properties of a defect and its impact on the material quality can be described by three main parameters:

• defect concentration N_T

• capture cross sections for electrons and holes σ_n, σ_p

• activation energy E_T

All this properties are part of the simulation models we use and aside from the defect concentration can be measured with the temperature dependent method MD-PICTS.
