Infrared-Radiofluorescence (IR-RF) is a technique for dosimetric dating of potassium feldspar to establish sedimentation ages. This method avoids some of the problems of other trapped-charge techniques, which employ the signal from recombination, by measuring the IR-signal from an electron capture at luminescence traps during ionization.
High saturation dose allows dating up to ca. 600 ka
